Live data usually means Live location data - imagine if you ping your location out on whatsapp, or you want to track where a package you ordered has got to.

Bandwidth limitations makes live tracking in the polar regions difficult, but not impossible.

At the moment, Operations GIS collate near-live data (within the last 10 minutes) of:

  • Aircraft

  • Ships

  • Traverse Pisten Bullys

These are available to toggle on the , or from the .
