# Web Mapping

Web mapping allows access to a lot of **geospatial data**, curated for the end-users. It fosters collaboration as an unlimited number of users can use the map at the same time.

MAGIC are currently reviewing and updating our web-mapping platforms for Operations. The plan is to move OperationsGIS to Esri, so it will look and feel like the ADD (<https://add.scar.org/>)

At BAS, we use **bespoke web-maps** to show season-specific data in [Operations GIS](https://opsgis.web.bas.ac.uk/login). This web-map is kept up to date with the latest-available data, sourced from Operations.

It also has a number of **tools** that have been built to support your work.
